Serenity Inn & Spa in central PA is the new home of the spa and healing services that were offered for many years at St. Joseph Institute. When the Institute re-focused its mission on addiction recovery in March of 2010, the general public could no longer visit the campus and the Laurel Wellness Center.

So that we could keep welcoming people from central Pennsylvania and throughout the Northeastern United States, Serenity Inn & Spa was created. Our packages and spa treatments include the most popular programs that have been enjoyed by thousands of visitors to St. Joseph Institute. Some new treatments have been added, along with several holistic programs that focus on healing the body, mind, emotions and spirit. The Inn offers a relaxed, intimate experience with 5 guest rooms and suites decorated in Victorian style.
